The Red Wing Heritage Men's Motorcycle Boot is a stylish and durable boot. They are decent with regards to the durability of soles, however, if you are using them for motorcycle breaking, they won't last as long as harder soles. They don't have steel toe protection, but Thorogood has a similar boot with steel toe protection. The boots are highly water-resistant but not waterproof. Redwing does make waterproof boots under the Irish Setter branding. The 877 is a classic Red Wing boot, which is sometimes referred to as a motorcycle boot; however, these boots are available in brown and have different eyelet hardware than the typical black eyelet 877. Some users find it difficult to use the leather insole as it makes the boot too tight. The boots are true to size according to most reviewers. They are expensive, but they're worth the price, and they're one of the best boot options on the market, according to multiple reviews.
