Drama Editorial Review
"LINCOLN" is a masterpiece that depicts the passing of the 13th amendment and provides a glimpse of who Lincoln was as a father, husband, and President. The movie is a dream come true for American history lovers. The performances by the cast are incredible, with Jared Harris's portrayal of Gen. Grant and Daniel Day-Lewis's depiction of Lincoln standing out. The movie deals with a landmark issue in American history that still resonates 160 years later. The intense rivalry between Democrats and Republicans depicted in the film is eerily similar to what we see today. The movie is rated PG-13 for its depiction of graphic violence but is still one that every American should see and learn from. Overall, "LINCOLN" is a great movie that accurately portrays history.
