Answer: Short answer I would say 'yes' it can be used for that purpose. But you should always follow the cam manufacturer's recommendation. -

How many tubes of assembly lube is needed for complete rebuild sbc 350?
Answer: My rebuild was a Jeep inline six. I did not use a full tube, so I think one should be enough. You can always buy more. -
