Answer: The 12 Pcs Cage Guard measures 13.8 inches in length and 4.7 inches in height. This size is ideal for providing a clear barrier around cages, ensuring that your pets, like rabbits and Sri Lanka pigs, stay safe within their playpen while also allowing ample visibility. The guards can be used effectively on C&C metal wire playpens, making them an essential addition for pet owners looking to enhance their pet's environment. -
Question:
How do I install the Cage Guard?
Answer: Installing the Cage Guard is straightforward. Each piece comes with zip ties that secure the guards in place around your cage. Simply wrap the guard panels around the perimeter of your playpen and use the zip ties to fasten them tightly. This setup not only helps keep your pet contained but also prevents bedding and other messes from spilling out, creating a cleaner living space for your furry friends. -
Question:
Can the Cage Guard be used with other types of cages?
Answer: Yes, the Cage Guard can be adapted for use with various cage designs beyond C&C metal wire playpens. Its flexible structure allows you to modify the positioning slightly to accommodate different cage shapes. This versatility makes it suitable for different pet habitats, ensuring that various sizes and styles of cages can benefit from the added protection and containment. -
Question:
What are the benefits of using a Scatter Guard?
Answer: Using a Scatter Guard like this one prevents litter, bedding, and food from scattering outside the cage. This not only keeps your living space cleaner but also provides a more controlled environment for your pets. Additionally, it can help in minimizing the risk of your pet escaping, ensuring that they remain secure within their designated area while they play. -
Question:
Is the material of the Cage Guard safe for pets?
Answer: Absolutely, the material used in the Cage Guard is non-toxic and safe for pets. It is designed with the well-being of animals in mind, meaning that your rabbits and Sri Lanka pigs can interact with it without risk. The clear design also ensures that your pets can see through the guards, which reduces their stress levels and promotes a happier living environment. -
Question:
Can I customize the layout of the Cage Guard?
Answer: Yes, the layout of the Cage Guard can be customized based on your specific needs. The flexible nature of the guards allows you to use them to create different configurations or zones within your playpen. This level of customization helps in enhancing your pet's play area, allowing them to have designated spaces for different activities such as nibbling, playing, or resting within their cage. -
Question:
How do I clean the Cage Guard?
Answer: Cleaning the Cage Guard is simple and convenient. You can wipe down the surface with a damp cloth or mild pet-safe cleaner to remove any stains or residue. Regular cleaning ensures a hygienic environment for your pets. Moreover, its clear material allows you to easily spot any mess, ensuring that your pet has a tidy space to play in. -
Question:
Is the 12 Pcs Cage Guard suitable for outdoor use?
Answer: The 12 Pcs Cage Guard is designed primarily for indoor use with C&C playpens but can be used outdoors for temporary setups. If using it outside, make sure to monitor the conditions to prevent any weather-related damage. This could be useful during supervised play sessions or outdoor events where your pets can enjoy some fresh air in a safe manner. -
Question:
How many guards come in the package?
Answer: The package includes a total of 12 individual Cage Guards. This quantity provides enough coverage to secure the perimeter of standard-sized C&C playpens. The multiple pieces allow for flexibility in arrangement, letting you create the best possible layout for your pets’ needs while ensuring maximum safety and security in their space. -

Tierecare Habitat Décor Editorial Review
**** The 12 Pcs Cage Guard, designed for various small pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, and birds, has garnered a largely positive reception among customers, particularly for its practicality and ease of use. Many users found that these flexible side linings significantly improved cleanliness in their pets' cages, effectively containing messes without the unsightly appearance of makeshift alternatives like cardboard. Customers appreciated the ease of disinfecting the guards, allowing them to be reused for subsequent pets or orders. For pet owners whose animals tend to spill food or scatter droppings, the Cage Guard proved to be a valuable addition, resulting in a tidier environment. While some found the product to have minor shortcomings—such as slipping out of place or a desire for better hole placements for zip ties—most reviews acknowledged that it fulfilled its intended purpose adequately. Moreover, the aesthetic advantage of the clear panels over cardboard alternatives was noted as a significant benefit. However, customers with larger cages might need more panels than provided in the set of twelve, which led to some suggestions for purchasing in larger quantities or customizing their own panels from plexiglass. Overall, the Cage Guard has emerged as an effective solution for managing mess in pet habitats, making it a recommended product for those looking to simplify clean-up routines. **
