Each piece of this licorice candy is about 1 1/2 to 2 inches long and is made from cane syrup, enriched wheat flour, cane molasses, water, corn syrup, food starch, licorice extract, palm oil, caramel color, glycerin, soy mono and diglyceride, potassium sorbate preservative, anise extract, and salt. Although the product is not gluten-free, it is highly recommended for black licorice lovers. The flavor is not too sweet and is delicious, but it might be a little expensive compared to other brands. If you prefer very soft licorice candy, you might find the texture a little hard to chew. Some customers complained that the licorice texture was too hard to chew, and some received expired or not-so-fresh products. Others enjoyed the flavor and believed it was the best value for their favorite treat.
