- Our Quick Cast Petrobond Sand is an ultra-fine, oil-bonded and pre-mixed moldable clay/sand mixture that allows you to cast highly detailed silver, gold, and copper materials. This method allows you to virtually duplicate dimensional objects (such as ancient coins, toys, wax, wood, plastics, etc.) with gold, copper, bronze, or silver using this reusable clay. Great for jewelry making. The molds can be made from objects composed of wood, wax, epoxy, plastics, and metal. Quick Cast Sand sand is a cost-effective way to cast your items without the need for expensive equipment. Safety First: Always wear heat-resistant gloves and face protection. Intended for adult use only. This basic kit includes the following products: 5 lbs of sand, 4 ounces of parting powder, (2) 100 mm aluminum ring molds, 16 tongs, and a crucible that measures: 3 in diameter. Not recommended for designs with undercuts. This is a Delft Clay alternative. Made from 140 Mesh Sharp Silica Sand, Resin, and Oil.
