These are real, dried Finger Starfish, and can be painted if desired. They do have a slight smell, but leaving them outside for a day can eliminate it. Some customers have experienced issues with odor, but soaking the starfish in alcohol has helped. Customers have used these starfish for Christmas tree ornaments or for nautical bathroom decor. They are well packaged upon delivery and are priced reasonably. Some customers have reported the starfish arriving broken, but overall customers have been satisfied with their purchase.
