The chipset should handle larger drives like 20-22TB. The enclosure came with a powerful enough Taiwanese brand APD power of 12V 3A. The chipset is JMicron JMS 567. One customer who is a photographer was very satisfied with how the drive performs and finds it acceptable in loading new photos.
