Do you guys wear these with or without socks for walking 2-3 miles and are they running true to size?
Answer: 8W & 7W: loose heel-toe area okay. Need heavy sock for 8 & socks for 7. No support for walking, uncomfortable after a couple of hours: even with socks, the nubs on the bottom of the soles can be felt, no arch support. It is suggested to try putting in a better insole. These shoes are not wider than others and come in black color for sole and upper. They are exclusively for women. The heel backing is not flexible and folding them would be very uncomfortable. Joy Walk and Joy Walk Five have different cushions, but the Go Walks are recommended for standing and walking. The shoes stretch up after wearing for sometimes, but it is not to the extent of being a deal-breaker. As for wearing with ankle brace, Go Walk 5 should be the perfect fit for someone who fits a 10.5 in Go Walk Joy. -

Are these shoes suitable for wearing with an ankle brace?
Answer: Not sure how big your ankle brace is. These shoes are true to size and very comfortable. I just had knee replacement and they are very supportive. Sorry, I can’t be of more help with the fit with the brace.
