Medical-Surgical Nursing: Concepts for Interprofessional Collaborative Care is an excellent resource for med surg class. The content is well written and easy to understand. However, the loose-leaf option may not be the best choice as it has pre-made punched holes that do not fit any binder, making the loose pages prone to getting lost or mixed up. The book is expensive, and returning for a hardcover version is complicated as the plastic wrap needs to be intact.
