The NHT AFX Mini Atmos is designed to complement existing speaker systems for a more immersive sound experience. In terms of installation, these speakers can be stacked on top of SuperZero 2.1 speakers, angled upwards to provide height sound effects, and positioned 1-2 feet from the ceiling to diffuse the sound. Customers enjoyed the tonal compatibility with other speakers and the fact that no other speakers need to be Atmos enabled. Customers also recommend using a 5.1.4 configuration for optimal results. However, some customers found that the price was too high for a single unit, and one customer noted that the stick-on feet left two marks on their white floor-standing speakers. Another customer found that the "upfiring" feature did not work and advised that the speakers should be mounted high up on a wall for optimal results.
