Answer: No, the battery is not included and needs to be purchased separately. -

What is the warranty on this product?
Answer: The warranty period for this chainsaw is 2 years. -

Is it a hand guard or proper chain brake that will activate an internal brake?
Answer: The hand guard is just that. However, to activate the saw you have to press and hold a button before pulling the trigger. Releasing the button for any reason cuts power to the saw and applies an internal brake. -

Answer: Our batteries have to match the voltage of the tool they are being used with. The UniversalChain 18 is compatible with any of our PBA/Power4All 18V batteries. -

Answer: If it’s the 18v power for all system then yes. Batteries don’t last long with the chainsaw so useful to have more than one. -

We have a drill which comes with a 14,4V battery. Would the battery work for this saw?
Answer: The battery is specifically for the chainsaw. It is not the same as for other Bosch equipment. -
Question:
Can the stabilizing tip protector be removed?
Answer: You could drill out the two rivets using a bench press, but it is not recommended as the tip protector reduces the risk of kickback. -
Question:
Could anyone recommend a replacement chain, will any 200mm chain be good?
Answer: It is recommended to buy the Bosch replacement chain, but personal preference can vary.
