However, it has its limitations. The tester can only measure voltage and continuity, and it cannot supply power to components as its power supply is only 5-15Vdc. The probe detects the waves and works as expected, but the latch feature doesn't work correctly. It occasionally works when the status changes from LO to HI, but it doesn't work when the status changes from HI to LO. In terms of the build quality, the tester comes with large car battery clamps, making it unsuitable for those working with smaller pieces and breadboards. This issue is easily solved by cutting off the clamps and attaching alligator clips instead. The probe functions well, is easy to handle, and appears to be accurate.
