The Colorescience Total Protection Face Shield SPF 50 is a sheer sunscreen that provides less coverage than a tinted moisturizer, but it can even out skin tone and provide a radiant sheen that is great for looking tan. The bronze color might not work for all skin tones, and some customers reported that it made them look ashy. The sunscreen can be used as a light foundation and is waterproof. There are several face shield formulas available, the original and Glow Face Shields are more dewy, while the new Flex Face Shield has a more matte finish. Customers can apply it in thin layers and wait several minutes between applications to minimize transfer. They can also use a Sunforgettable Total Protection brush-on sunscreen or their favorite setting product to set it.
