The Guqin was not meant to be publicly performed, but playing on a hard, smooth table top helps with acoustic volume. The book is not in English, but there are online resources available. The Guqin is 48.5 inches in length and is meditative by nature but can be heard clearly within a single room. Amplification and a suitable resonating table are necessary for performances and open venues. The strings are attached, and the instrument comes with a tuning tool and a wall mount. The customer experiences with the product are mixed. Some customers are very satisfied with the product's quality and protection, while others experienced delayed delivery and were unsatisfied with the string coating.
