Great length nice and light, I have a 6 lb runner. Other long leashes seemed to heavy for him. Do recommend rinsing since when I did it was 10 minutes of suds coming off it, odd but it's clean now lol

I am a person that normally reads reviews before buying a product, and it was no different with this purchase. We have two Labradors, one that just turned 11 and the other is 1. I made this purchase to use more as a training aid for our 1 year old to break him of some unwanted habits that we weren't being successful with as part of our normal training. As most young labs are prone to do, he loves to put everything in his mouth outside, plus likes to take shoes, and remote controls. Reviews were mixed on this particular item with people saying it didn't work at all to others saying it worked great. In the end it seemed like a product that worked to some level and was very easy to use, so, decided it was worth a try for $30.rnrnThe day we got it, which by the way came early by a day or two, I had the chance to use it. Our 1 year old had taken a shoe and would not release it. I gave him many repeated commands to leave it, but he wanted to play with it. I pushed the button for less than a second and WOW, it worked like a charm. I could not believe it, he dropped the shoe right away, and came by my side. In the few weeks we have had it, we have only had to use it a handful of times. It has worked every time on him. He now listens and responds to our commands much better. If he is starting to perform a behavior we don't want, and he won't respond to our verbal commands all we really need to do is show him the control and he obeys. It has been a great addition to our training.rnrnHaving two dogs, we did have concern with using this to train our 1 year old and it accidentally also affecting our 11 year old that might be within range. It is a dilemma you will have to work out if you do have two dogs. However, for us it appears as it does not affect our 11 year old. We have used it a couple times when our 11 year old has been in range of our 1 year old, and it doesn't seem to phase him. So, I am not sure if it is his age and his hearing is not as good as it used to be and this frequency doesn't affect him, or, he is just a salty old man who has a tolerance to it. :-) Not sure, and we never have reason to use it on him, so, I don't know if holding the button longer would affect him. So, to the point other reviewers made this may not work on all dogs.rnrnOur neighbor has two dogs as well (Rottweiler and Rottweiler mix), and one is a barker when he is outside and sees someone. They have been frustrated, because they have not been able to correct him of it and have even used a training shock collar. That has worked, but not consistently. So, instead of being able to have the dog outside with them, they usually keep him in the house because of the barking. We were outside talking, and the dog started barking when they saw us, and I told them about this device and about the success we had with it on our 1 year old. He asked if he could try it, and he went over to their deck where their dog was barking pushed the button for less than a second and their dog stopped barking right away.rnrnI have no feedback on battery life. It takes 2 AAs, and we have used it so little I don't know how long they should or will last.rnrnThe only negative thing I have noticed is it is easy to accidentally press the control button if you have it in your pocket or aren't paying attention to how you are carrying it. It doesn't take a lot to press it down, as the button is basically flush with the case. So, watch out for that.rnrnOverall we are happy with this purchase, and our results to this point have been great. It is doing what we hoped it would for helping us in our training.

Purchase Dog Training & Behaviour Aids at Ubuy Sri Lanka

Roughly 72% of dog owners report at least one behaviour issue, whether it’s barking, leash pulling, house soiling, or chewing. These aren’t quirks; they’re trainable problems. The right dog training & behaviour aids can resolve most of these without long hours or expensive trainers.

Ubuy Sri Lanka offers a range that goes straight to the point. From puppy toilet training aids for housebreaking to bark control training aids for vocal breeds, these tools are about outcomes. Use them right, and you won’t need to raise your voice again.

Discover Behavioural Training Tools for Common Dog Habits

Struggling with your dog’s barking, chewing, or pulling? You’re not alone. From clickers to calming vests, the right tools can make a real difference if you know which ones work for which behaviours.

Housebreaking Tools to Reduce Accidents

Puppy training tools aren’t optional. Dogs aren’t born knowing where to relieve themselves. With training pads, consistency matters more than effort. Choose multi-layer pads with leak barriers and scent attractants; pads without this feature fail to guide 80% of pups.

Real-grass patches are the next step. For flats or no-garden homes, they train the pup’s texture memory. When paired with feeding & watering supplies, owners report a faster transition to outdoor toileting.

Add a puppy training spray in the training zone. It builds surface association within days. When it comes to potty training aids, don’t combine tools. Pick one strategy and stick to it.

Bark Control That Interrupts Without Damage

Dogs bark for attention, boredom, or alertness. Not all barking is bad, but when it spikes past 5–10 times per trigger, it needs intervention.

Dog barking aids like vibration collars offer non-invasive correction. No shocks. Just a timed buzz when barking hits a threshold. Devices from PetSafe or SportDOG use smart sensors to avoid false triggers, so your dog isn’t punished for ambient noise.

For sharp, situation-based correction (like doorbell frenzies), tools like Pet Corrector’s air canisters work in milliseconds. Most users say barking drops by half in the first week. Combine these with positive reinforcement in the form of dog treats to avoid fear-based responses.

Barking during walks? That’s a control issue. Reinforce with leads or halters from dog walking training aids. The mistake is letting the dog decide the pace and direction. Fix that, and barking often drops on its own.

Leash and Movement Control Tools to Reshape Outdoor Habits

The average dog should walk calmly within a metre radius. Pulling means your dog’s leading, and that’s a training failure, not a temperament flaw.

Front-clip harnesses from Four Paws redistribute force and halt forward motion without choking. These don’t injure; they inform. For large, reactive breeds, collars from DogCare offer remote tone or vibration signals. Pair these with short, focused outings and minimal distraction zones.

One study found that consistent use of guided harnesses reduced leash pulling in the majority of dogs within two to three weeks. It’s not magical. It’s repetition and correction timing.

Scent-Based Tools That Teach Without Contact

The smell is a dog’s dominant sense. It controls how dogs mark, roam, and relax. Smart trainers leverage this using repellents and attractant sprays.

Want to stop a dog from chewing wires or furniture? Use bitter or citrus-based dog repellents from brands like Out! PetCare. These alter scent cues around objects, reducing interest without scolding. For outside behaviour, granule repellents create no-go zones in gardens or near bins. These pair well with routines supported by other health supplies, especially when training around food disposal or defecation zones.

On the flip side, use pheromone-based puppy training sprays to guide toileting. Products from Sentry mimic natural calming cues. Great for crate training or travel.

Frequently Asked Questions About Dog Training & Behavior Aids

  • What Are the Best Training Aids for Housebreaking a Puppy?

Start with absorbent pads, add an attractant spray, and control feeding. Avoid switching methods too often, as consistency beats novelty.

  • What Are the Differences Between Potty Training Pads and Real Grass Patches?

Pads are disposable and better for beginners. Grass systems accelerate outdoor transition but need more maintenance. Choose based on your environment.

  • What is the Most Effective Way to Stop a Dog from Barking Excessively?

Use vibration or tone collars with proven feedback loops. Don’t shout. Reinforce quiet with rewards. Interrupt, don’t escalate.

  • How Can I Tell if a Training Aid is Working for My Dog?

Behaviour should change in under 10 sessions. If you’re seeing zero progress, the method or timing is off.
